FILM SCORING + KEEPING BUSY IN
THE STUDIO |

Since the completion of the latest Song-A-Week series, hosted by
OPB (Oregon Public Broadcasting) in April which produced twenty-five new
songs in twenty-one consecutive weeks, busyness has ensued. Local Portland, OR indie filmmaker Jon Garcia has been working
on his new movie called Tandem Hearts which I’ve been writing material for
and even have a bit part playing myself. Work has also been continuing on the new release due out in
early 2010 to be titled “Champion Of The Noisy Negativists”. More information regarding that project
will be available soon. |

MUSICFEST NW (TWO SHOWS) |

There have been a lot of changes and new editions in the world
of things SOUTHERLY with many to be
unveiled over two performances at this year’s Musicfest NW (see the
tour page for performance dates and times).
Mr. David Fimbres
(Paper/Upper/Cuts, Dudes Of Chaos) will be joining us on drums as well as a
fifth member to be announced shortly. The first is an all age’s show at Voodoo 2 (Sandy Blvd) for the
Music Millennium and Greyday Records day party and the later 21+ event is
hosted by Slabtown. |

Music Sessions. The project runs from
December 11, 2008 through April 30, 2009 with new tracks posted every
Thursday for free download exclusively from the OPB Music website at www.opbmusic.org.

series of 2007, we will be launching a brand new audio
series hosted exclusively by OPB Music (Oregon
Public Broadcasting)! Officially titled the OPB Music Sessions – long version “Southerly's Song-A-Week: OPB Music
Sessions” – it will launch the same day that our recent in-studio airs on
the In House Radio
